Mrs. Kelsey Balaoing

I attended Black Hills State University for my undergrad and have received a BA-Secondary History Education and MA-History with an emphasis in Education. This is my 2nd year at Billings Christian School. My husband and I have one son and a baby on the way! We have lived in Billings for almost 2 years now. Before that we were in South Dakota where I taught for 7 years. I always loved the idea that I could be a light in a person’s life through my job. And I have always felt that I had a gifting of teaching kids, so when it came time for me to decide what to do, that is why I decided to be a teacher. I also had a History teacher in HS and my Student Council Advisor who were both influential in my educational life and I sought to be like them in both teaching content, but also how they loved their students so well.
